The Cor Infinitus memorials have received clinical oversight from Open Arms, Mates4Mates and the North Queensland Primary Health Network to ensure they are as psychologically safe as possible.

Cor Infinitus memorials are not intended to glorify a person's final act to take their life. Rather, they are intended to assist in suicide prevention and promote conversation to further destigmatise suicide and mental illness.

The inclusion of plaques showing help numbers and messages from others are both essential elements for psychological safety.

 

Any replication of a Cor Infinitus dedication plaque that is not accompanied by messaging of hope and help may lead to catastrophic consequences for a vulnerable person.
